We traveled 387 miles today and started off leaving Louisville, KY and drove through St Louis, MO. We did not stop in St Louis due to the large traffic jam but we got some really good pictures from the bridges that we were stuck on. The weather was beautiful 75 degrees sunny Carolina blue skies (we said that just for Randy). We stopped for the night in Columbia, MO about middle way the state and it was a great campground near the fairgrounds. We took the dogs out for a walk and I decided to run them and boy was that a workout but we needed it after sitting in the RV all day. I will post the pictures from that day now and so some of them may be out of order on the blog. What a "Wonderful World"
PS. Joyce only let me drive about 1-2 hours per day, so don't let her fool you with her comments! HaHa!

I did let Sheila drive a little more today! Yesterday we went through some long tunnel's that had been dug out of the mountains which helped not having to climb over them. Today we drove through Indiana, Illinois, & some of Missouri. The best part of this trip was seeing the St Louis Arch Way to the west & the river front. Major traffic jam there & another one again with a bad wreck 18 wheeler turned over. But we got through all that & found a campground to stay in for the night. Posting more pictures later! Having a ball & really bonding as sisters even more if that is possible for we are already real close!!!
