Ok, Ok, I'm posting the pictures! West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois. We were flying so the pictures are somewhat blurry and taken on the fly since we only stopped for gas. The mountains of WVa where a little tough on the RV engine climbing and drinking alot of gas. We filled it up about 3 times about 25 gallons each time because Joyce does not want to let it get below a half of tank of gas. We drove from Raleigh to Chapel Hill and stopped there to see my co-workers and they all came out to see the RV and then we had a professional photographer take some pictures (which we will get later) he was there for a photo shot at work, then we actually left town around 10:15. We drove a total of 563 miles today and actually made it to Louisville, KY as we had hoped but it was a long day since we didn't pull into the campground until around 9:30pm and we had left my house in Raleigh around 9:15am. Most of the pictures are the road signs showing that we have been in each of the states and some pictures of some bridges and barns and some of Louisville, KY. We are having a blast!
We started out saying a prayer before we left the house and vowed to say one each morning thanking God for safe travel and for giving us such a wonderful world to see. We spent the night in Louisville, KY at a KOA campground just across the Ohio River which was actually in Clarksville, IN. What a great day, see you all tomorrow. I have to get these pictures posted now so I can get some sleep because if I am lucky Joyce will let me drive some more tomorrow. (She only let me drive 183 miles out of the 563 we did today). Happy Trails to us until we meet again....... Sheila
